Well, Taegan is 10 weeks old today! I can't believe its already been that long since he was born! (I promise I'll get better about updating this!) At his 2 month checkup, Tac weighed 10 lb 11 0z and is 22 1/2 inches long!! We have finally wrapped up everything at the gin and are jumping into taxidermy as we adjust to being a new family. It has definately not been easy!! However, in just the last week, thanks to some changes in my diet Tac has gone from a very fussy, moody, high-maintenance baby to a pretty happy and easy going little guy. Thanks Melissa!!!!! First it was to the deer lease for a week, then to the Corpus area to see all of Al's family, and then to Kerrville for a taxidermy seminar. Nine hours is a very, very long time to be in a car with a baby! All in all, we are doing great and glad to be home for a while!!

I left Al to babysit and this was the result. In case you're wondering, yes, that is a dog bed. Al's been pretty good to Buster, though, so I guess Taegan should turn out alright.
Camo Family!! At 4 1/2 weeks old, Tac took his first trip to the deer lease. Al is soooo ready for Tac to come riding in with his first kill. Im a little worried though-- with his parents being taxidermists, I think Tac is gonna expect to get every horny toad and jackrabbit he kills mounted!!!!
